Bonafide Mac OS X Widgets

Written in Dashcode for your Apple dashboard. This widget runs on Mac OS X platforms and is supplied free of charge. This runs on Tiger and Leapoard and is most easily downloaded via Apple's Safari browser. All files are compressed as .zip files.

"Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you’re using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you’re using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it."

OBAMA INAUGURATION COUNTDOWN WIDGET (Macintosh only)

A countdown timer widget. It runs to 12 noon Washington DC time for Inauguration day, January 20 2009. The following files are in zip archive format.

Click here to download Obamatime 1.6 released Jan 14 2008. In this update, the timezone is fixed for world use. The timezone can also be overriden by a slider on the back. Also it counts forward for Obama's Presidency after the event. All prior features are retained: Change portraits by tapping on the portrait area rim, tap on mouth to read short Obama speeches. Also pick you favorite slogan by tapping above the clock on the slogan area. You can also turn over the widget to pick between Obama arriving or Bush leaving. The Inauguration backplate links to Change.gov

In this update, tap on the rim portrait area for other poses, on the mouth for Obama speeches and tap on Obama slogans for your favorite slogan. This version counts time from GMT and set for Pacific Standard Time. The new Inauguration backplate links to Change.gov
